About Us

Living Ambitions encompasses a lucrative concentrate of people who possess a wealth of experience derived from working in both Social Services and Health and Education Departments. Many of whom have more than 25 years practice within their professional sphere.

The Company’s origins span back nearly 20 years when The Watson Group first developed services in the Salford area of Greater Manchester.

In addition to the provisions and services mentioned on our home page Living Ambitions also operates a school for children with autism and/or complex learning needs. Oliver House School situated in Astley Village, Chorley, Lancashire is able to accommodate pupils from the whole of the UK by linking with the organisation’s provision of registered children’s homes which are situated in the local vicinity.

Creativity and innovation underpin the development of services at Living Ambitions and as an organisation we believe in the rights of children, young people and adults with disabilities to have appropriate person centred plans and support networks designed to enable an exciting, rich and fulfilling life. We therefore endeavour to demonstrate clear therapeutic pathways in our work by placing the person at the centre of the planning process. This ensures that we are focused about the services, support and outcomes that the person requires.

We welcome contacts from colleagues in similar services, the families and advocates of service users, PCTs and NHS Trusts and Social Services Departments who wish to work in partnership over the longer term and/or require innovative support provision.
